ABOUT ME

Guilherme (Gui) Morilha
I'm a Brazilian-Canadian cinematographer based in Toronto, with credits since 2015 across narrative fiction, feature documentary, music video, and branded work. My mission is to bring underrepresented stories to light, and my films have been broadcast on CBC and screened at global festivals. My music video work won Music Video of the Year at the YYC Music Awards. The feature documentary "80 Giants" had its theatrical release in 2025.

Behind the camera, I aim for presence and emotion over polish. From Good Daze to Duck (16mm) and LXMXX (35mm), shot in Italy. I use my compositions to build empathy and understanding.

I'm an affiliate member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers and an active member of the Brazilian Association of Cinematographers.
